Oil and Gas Monitoring and Control

Skygistics, with the use of their satellite range of products, has developed a 24
hour per day / 7 days a week oil and gas monitoring and control system.
Oil & Gas fl ows, temperatures, pressure and other variables are to be remotely
monitored and controlled on a regular basis via the receipt of regular reports,
as well as regular interrogation of the system several times a day.

This saves the user from having to physically visit the site and manually monitor these
elements, especially in remote or hostile areas.
Users are able to view information and operate the system from the offi ce
via an Internet connected computer connected to the Skygistics System and
are also alerted to unscheduled events, receiving alarms for gas leakage and
changes in gas flow.

Skygistics satellite transceivers can be interfaced to all types of intelligent
transmitters to measure and monitor all process parameters and communicate
these in real time to the PLC/SCADA or DCS system.
Power can be provided by solar panel and communications to the satellite is
provided by the Skygistics satellite transceiver.
Messages are forwarded via a geo-stationary satellite to the Skygistics
Response Centre for processing of data and forwarding of alarms on a 24
hour per day / 7 days per week basis.
